You will not find the trees that I paint anywhere in nature. You might find something similar, but not quite the same. The technique that I use to paint my trees is called stylization. What that means is that I paint trees based on my imagination. For example, if trees grew on Saturn, what would they look like?
I have been sketching trees for about ten years, and recently started using water color to create my creations. To me trees represent life, fertility, wisdom, knowledge, growth and transformation. I try to capture these representations in each of my paintings.

To be honest with you, I think that I am obsessed with putting brush to paper and letting my imagination go where it pleases. I find my peace, and my center when I paint.
